L’atelier de recherche Iqbal est un espace en ligne consacré à la reconstruction de la pensée en islam. Les sociétés du monde musulman vivent à la fois une crise identitaire et des bouleversements profonds qui imposent de poser un diagnostic lucide et d’explorer de nouvelles voies pour penser les défis de l’islam du XXIe siècle. L’atelier Iqbal a pour principal objectif de mettre en valeur tous ceux – auteurs, chercheurs, enseignants, théologiens, acteurs associatifs, artistes etc., par delà leurs origines, situations et disciplines respectives – qui pensent de manière créative, libre et critique la question islamique de notre temps. L’atelier Iqbal travaille essentiellement sur trois thèmes d’action et de réflexion :
1) la reconstruction ou la réforme de la pensée
2) les relations entre religion et politique, raison et foi, science et religion
3) l’entre-connaissance, la convivance, la rencontre des cultures et le dialogue inter-religieux
L’idée sous-jacente derrière la mise en place d’un espace éditorial original en ligne est de mettre en acte un processus d’intelligence collective de manière à favoriser tout ce qui permet de diffuser la connaissance, de stimuler la quête de science, la curiosité d’apprendre, de questionner et de découvrir autour de thèmes liés à la pensée islamique, à sa crise multiséculaire, à son présent et à son avenir. Entretiens, conférences, articles, livres et revues de livre sont les principales rubriques du site.

Iqbal is an online research workshop dedicated to the reconstruction of Islamic thought. Contemporary societies in the Muslim world are facing an identity crisis and upheavals that require the need to explore new ways of thinking in order to apprehend the challenge of 21st century Islam. Iqbal workshop’s main objective is to promote the works of all those – authors, researchers, teachers, theologians, social activists, etc., and beyond their origins, situations and respective disciplines – that think in a critical, free and creative manner the Islamic issue of our time. Iqbal workshop works essentially on three axis for action and reflection:
1) the reconstruction or the reform of thought in Islam
2) the relationships between religion and politics, reason and faith, science and religion
3) the intercultural knowledge and the inter-religious dialog
The underlying idea behind the setup of a new online editorial space is to put in practice a collective intelligence process. This editorial space will share knowledge, provide tools for thought, stimulate the quest of science, question and discover some topics related to Islamic thought, its multi-secular crisis, its present and future. Interviews, conferences, articles, books and book reviews will be the main features of the website.

هذا الموقع ورشة للبحث المباشر الموجّه لإعادة بناء الفكر في الإسلام، نظرا لأزمة الهويّة والتّحوّلات العميقة اللّتي يعيشها حاليّا المجتمع الإسلامي في العالم، ممّا يدعو لاكتشاف طرق جديدة لتدبّر تحدّيات الإسلام في القرن الواحد والعشرين. إنّ الهدف الرّئيسي لهذا الموقع هو تمييز كلّ من: الكتّاب، الباحثين، المدرّسين، التّقنيين، الممثّلين الجمعويين، الفنّانين، الخ …، على أساس طرق تفكيرهم الخلّاقة، الحرّة و النّقديّة حول قضيّة الإسلام في وقتنا الحاليِ، وذلك بغضّ النّظر عن أصلهم، وضعيّاتهم، او اختصاصاتهم. يرتكز مشروع إقبال في المقام الأول على ثلاثة محاور من العمل و التفكير:
1) إعادة البناء أو الإصلاح الفكري
2) النظر في العلاقة بين الدين و السياسة، و العقل و الإيمان، و العلم و الدين
3) السعى إلى التبادل المعرفي، الإلتقاء الثقافات و الحوار بين الأديان
إنّ الفكرة الأساسيّة لمشروع موقع فريد للنّشر عبر شبكة الانترنت تتمثّل في خلق عمليّة وعي جمعيّة تهدف لتشجيع نشر المعرفة والرّغبة في اكتسابها وفي البحث العلمي، وكذلك التّساؤل و اكتشاف كلّ ما يرتبط بقضيّة الإسلام والأزمة التي يعيشها العالم الإسلامي في الماضي والحاضر. ويحتوي هذا الموقع على عروض كتب وتنظيم مؤتمرات و مقابلات
